Pick one:

b. Writer’s block
c. Hiatus
d. Extended vacation
e.  All of the above

BTW, the answer is e.  “all of the above” and I’ll tell you more about it so just keep reading.

It’s good to be back!  Did ya miss me? *grin*

So where have I been?  Well, I took a much needed winter break down south and spent some sunny time, and by time I mean the entire month of March, in the Sunshine State of sunny Florida.  Did I mention the sunshine?

What have I been up to?  I have been working on another blog.  It is currently a private blog.  If I am ever brave enough I will share it with you someday.  I’ll keep you posted.

What have I been listening to?  I’ve been enjoying a few CDs by the Bethel music team from Redding, CA, especially the Loft SessionsTrack 4 has been on repeat.

What have I been reading?  Nothing.  I even brought three of my thirteen books for 2013 with me on my trip, and didn’t read one sentence.  Something you should know about me, if I think I have to do something- yeah, I usually won’t.  I should have thought about that before picking not one but THIRTEEN books to read this year.  Other years I’ve easily exceeded that.  No problem.  But that was when I didn’t have to read them.  It just happened when it happened.

So naturally, since I am knowingly in a state of non-readership, I would make a couple trips to our city’s annual Book Fair this past week in search of more not-soon-to-be-read literary treasures.  And using that same good logic it would seem like a perfectly rational idea to find over twenty orphaned books a new home on my cozy (read: crowded) bookshelves in my already overpopulated library.  So that is what I did, and why I did it.  I make no apologies and take no prisoners, unless it’s a copy of Spenser’s The Faerie Queene in excellent condition, with readable font and fabulous footnotes.  If you happen upon a lonely copy I am sure I can find a nice comfy corner to tuck it into somewhere in Una’s Happy Home for Foundling Tomes and Treasures.

So how have you been?  What have you been up to?  Let me know by leaving a message in the comment section.  I always love to hear from you.
