Clement:

1. mild or merciful in disposition or character; lenient; compassionate

2. (of the weather) mild or temperate; pleasant.

Clemency:

1. Lenience, mercifulness, lenity, leniency, grace, charity, pardon, decency, favor, kindliness, kindness, benevolence, compassion, easygoingness and humanity are some words that are synonymous to clemency.

2. Clemency indicates mildness, especially for weather conditions.

In our area we have been enjoying unseasonably clement weather.

In the Church we have been learning to appreciate God’s clemency.

It is a rainy season… with showers of grace and mercy, love and favor.
